Accessing Your Website Using FTP

  • Access your FTP service

    To access your FTP service you will need the following details:-

    • Host Name
      The hostname is the URL for your ftp service.  This will be ftp.domainname.com, remembering not to include "www." in the path.
    • Username
      Your username will be your domain name without the "www.".
    • Password
      Your password will have been provided to you in the documentation sent to you when you signed up.

  • How many FTP accounts can I have?

    Each NovaHost hosting account comes with a single FTP accout which will allow you to do the following within your webspace:-

    • Upload files and folders
    • Download files and folders
